It is such an honor to part of a community filled with entrepreneurs as well as professionals. While small business ownership has its challenges, I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Back in 2009, I became part of the economic down turn, but was able to bounce back quickly landing an analyst position at a Walmart supplier while starting my own bookkeeping business.
This past week, I was interviewed by Jamie Smith of the City Wire, telling my story of how working in the supplier community gave me the confidence and stability to move from the professional, corporate environment to living the dream (a dream I didn’t even know existed) of owning my own business. To me, the greatest reward has been knowing that I was able to make something out of nothing.
Please, read the story of spreading entrepreneurial wings and finding success in the small business community.
